The shortest area (the middle) is 6.7" long, the sides are 10.6" long, this allows for easy and versatile styling!
Materials: I use heat resistant hair fiber that is able to withstand the heat of styling tools to give you almost the same styling versatility as human hair (optimal temperature is 250-275 degrees). Going above 350 degrees is not recommended. With a matte look, it looks like the real thing and you can reshape it with the scissors or curling iron.
