STIFFEST BRISTLES: Bristles are 100% first-cut boar bristles (the firmer part of the bristle) from a special type of boar raised at high elevations above 10,000 feet in the mountains of the Tibetan Plateau. Due to the extreme weather, this special type of boar grows especially thick bristles.

FULL SIZE BRUSH: The PW1 hairbrush is a full size brush measuring 2" wide (brush area) x 8.75" (total length). The bristles are 100% first-cut boar bristles (the firmer part of the bristle) from a special type of boar raised at high elevations above 10,000 feet in the mountains of the Tibetan Plateau.

DARK PEAR WOOD HANDLE: The handle of this beautifully crafted brush is made from dark pear wood, grown locally in Germany. When the brush arrives from Germany at our facility in southern Idaho, we tape the brushes and carefully package them.
